Professionals in health facilities are required to wear appropriate Personal Protective Equipment(PPE).One important part of these equipments is disposable glove that protect hands and prevent skin from irritating chemicals,blood-borne pathogens and other harmful substances.
Disposable gloves utilized in health facilities are generally divided into three types due to their materials-Latex gloves,Vinyl gloves and Nitrile Gloves.

Nitrile gloves are made of synthetic rubber.They are latex free,chemicals and puncture resistant,making them the most popular choice among disposable gloves.They are suite for:
  • Medical Staff
  • Laboratories
  • Mechanics
  • Food industry

Latex Gloves are made of natural latex.They are soft and fit like a second skin and with a high level of flexibility.They are suited for:
  • Medical Professionals
  • Biodegradable green practice
  • Beauty and salon workers
  • Those looking for better fit and dexterity
But to be notice that latex gloves are not suitable for those who with latex allergy.Please have a check before you use latex gloves.


Vinyl gloves are cheaper than both latex and nitrile gloves.But they are less tensile and easy to be broken.Short and low-risk tasks would need them.They are suitable for:
  • Low-risk procedure
  • Food preparation
  • Smaller budgets
  • Those with latex allergies
  • Working with non-hazardous materials
