The history of disposable nitrile gloves


In the earlier time, due to the high cost, the balance between supply and demand of natural rubber is not really utilized.  

After the outbreak of World War I, demand for natural rubber exceeded supply and prices rose, leading more countries to develop synthetic rubber.

So, the synthetic rubber which first developed by Baeyer who was a German, and successfully synthesized polyisoprene in 1931.    


Nitrile was first synthesized in Germany in 1931, and was mass-produced in Germany and the United States.


The medical industry saw a surge in demand for latex gloves since the AIDS epidemic.  

However, the supply of natural latex is in short supply and prices are rising.  At the same time, accidents caused by latex allergies are also frequent, accelerating the emergence of synthetic rubber gloves.


Therefore, the nitrile gloves are born accordingly and was widly used all over the world in the 1980s.

    The inner surface of your gloves needs to be smooth and comfortable. Have you ever thought about the glove’s outer surface? Textured gloves happen to have a rough outer surface.
