MEDICAL GLOVES - Surgical，Examination

 


A piece of essential personal protection equipment in the medical and health industries, medical gloves are made with natural rubber latex, nitrile rubber or neoprene and are available in un-powdered or powdered versions for improved skin lubrication.

There are two main types of disposable medical gloves with natural rubber latex and nitrile rubber, namely examination gloves and surgical gloves.

SURGICAL GLOVES

Although less obvious, surgical gloves tend to have a more precise fitting and are usually sterilised and un-powdered as not to hinder post-surgery tissue growth and healing, examination gloves are available in unsterilised and sterilised forms and can be made from nitrile rubber, vinyl and neoprene other than natural latex. Surgical gloves made in Sri Lanka have an extra treated internal surface to soothe and protect the skin from irritation, dryness and cracking and protect the wearer against both type 1 and 4 allergies through the elimination of chemical accelerants during the manufacturing process.

EXAMINATION GLOVES

Widely used in general medical practices, nursing, and dentistry, examination gloves are made with natural rubber latex, nitrile rubber, and neoprene. The examination gloves made with natural rubber soft latex and nitrile rubber and are available in sterile and non-sterlie versions. Customised for the demanding requirements of the dental and nursing professions, these gloves provide strength, comfort and fit to reduce hand fatigue and is suitable for wet surface conditions as found in the dental and nursing sectors.

    The inner surface of your gloves needs to be smooth and comfortable. Have you ever thought about the glove’s outer surface? Textured gloves happen to have a rough outer surface. What are textured gloves? Have you ever examined the outer surface of a glove and noticed indentations? I am sure you have.
